From 0 until 2 years old
You can start to clean a baby’s teeth as soon as the first tooth appears. As more teeth begin to appear, brush the child’s teeth with a soft toothbrush and water. Do Not Use Toothpaste. It may be difficult at first but a baby will become used to this routine. Cleaning a baby’s teeth is very important to help protect against tooth decay.

From 2 until 7 years old
You can start to use toothpaste, but only use a small pea-sized amount of fluoride toothpaste. Supervise brushing twice a day, at bedtime and one other time during the day. Children under seven years are not able to brush their own teeth properly, they need help from an adult. It takes three minutes to brush teeth properly (about the length of a song).

Teens
As you hit puberty, you begin to take on a more active and social lifestyle. As you start to build your independence and focus on your appearance, the more you will need to focus on your dental health as well. Dentist’s recommend brushing your teeth at least twice a day, flossing daily, avoid tobacco and see your dentists regularly.

Adults
As you get older, you start to reap the rewards of caring for your teeth or face the consequences of your neglect. As most teeth and gum problems start to ensue at this stage, regular cleaning and check-up is a must to arrest the growth of bacteria and plaque.
